He gave the world a lot of laughs, and now many are mourning Leslie Nielsen.
The Regina-born actor who went from serious drama to inspired bumbling in ``Airplane!'' and the ``The Naked Gun'' comedies, died in Florida at age 84.

U-S President Barack Obama has received 12 stitches in his lip after he was accidentally elbowed during a pick-up basketball game.

Obama had travelled to Fort McNair with a group of family and friends for an early morning game of basketball when the accident occurred.
