The Idol Mansion!
The American Idol contestants are getting a taste of the high life. Last Friday, the 13 finalists moved into this Beverly Hills mansion that's worth an estimated $12 million.
It's costing the show $100,000 a month to rent. The estate features nine bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a hot tub, pool, koi pond, game room with a pool table and of course -- amazing views.
The contestants will remain in house -- where they will also be filmed -- until they're voted off the show.

A pretty cool view from an airplance of the launch of Discovery last month!!
Discovery's final landing went off without a hitch today.
The space shuttle touched down this afternoon at the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida.
Mission control praised what it said was a great landing in tough conditions and congratulated the crew for a great job on the shuttle's 39th mission.
NASA is retiring the shuttle and sending it to the Smithsonian Institute.

Gwyneth signs record deal!
Oscar winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow has signed on the dotted line. She has inked her first record deal with Atlantic Records to the tune of $900,000!

Forget the heels: Suri Cruise's latest fashion controversy is centered on an accessory for a much younger set -- the pacifier. The littlest Cruise, who turns 5 next month, has been spotted around Vancouver recently with a pacifier in her mouth.
The startling photos have prompted the question: how old is too old for such things? Sources claim that Tom and Katie's Scientology beliefs are tied in with the lingering habit.
• An insider explained, "Suri just isn't told 'no' very often. Scientology encourages you to make your own decision and learn lessons as you live your life. She'll know herself when it's time to throw the pacifier away, plain and simple."
• The source added, "It's not like they would not tell Suri not to touch a fire or run across the street but certain things they want her to decide herself including when she feels it's the right time to stop using a pacifier."

Pancakes anyone??
If you're having pancakes tonight, here's a recipe for you.
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Make a well in the center, and pour in milk, egg and oil. Mix until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
