Halifax Mayor Peter Kelly joined Foresters™ President and CEO, George Mohacsi, and community partners to officially build and open a safe, new, volunteer-built playground at École John W. MacLeod Fleming Tower School on Wednesday June 17.
Designed by kids and built by Foresters, non-profit organization KaBOOM! and parents, the playground is unique. It will serve children from two districts including Purcell’s Cove – Armdale and Spryfield – Herring Cove and accessible to children with special needs.
