Thank you Boston!

A large white spruce tree has been cut and is heading to Boston, after an annual Christmas tradition dating back to 1971 in Nova Scotia.
Gary and Roasann Misner donated this year's 46-year-old white spruce that has graced the front lawn of their home in North Alton, Kings County.
The Misners say they're happy to be part of a the long tradition of sending trees to Boston.

The tree is expected to arrive in Boston on Thursday. A special tree-lighting ceremony will be held Dec. 2.
