Based on the Novel by Jonathan Safran Foer about a young boy who is trying to deal with the ramifications of the 9/11 attacks. The movie comes out in December.

Rosh Hoshanah began Wednesday night, see how these guys explain the Jewish New Year.

Some of the Most Shared videos on YouTube today are music videos celebrating the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hoshanah. This parody of Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO has been particularly popular.

Idiot Parents On the Loose

In this video, some parents in Florida have their son use a beer bong to drink a juice box. A group of people yells and cheers for him (even using the phrase 'chug it') and the boy seems pretty pleased with the attention and the drink. We'll give you a second to shake your head on this one.

Does this trailer make you want to see the movie? or do you think you have already seen enough?

The full trailer is out for New Year’s Eve, Garry Marshall’s latest flick starring just about everyone in Hollywood.

They are calling it the "Miracle Dress".

When Kate Winslet took to the red carpet earlier this month at the Venice Film Festival in a sporty but sexy dress, jaws dropped over her va-va-voom curves. Though the Oscar winner has never been shy about embracing her voluptuous figure, her exaggerated hourglass form was actually courtesy of her dress — a color-blocked Bicolour Octavia number by Stella McCartney.

“It’s like retouching your body with a frock,” says celebrity stylist June Ambrose of the sheath, which retails for $1,595. The figure-flattering number — one of the “optical illusion” dresses from the designer’s fall collection — focuses the eye with a contoured front panel while its black sides seem to disappear, creating a deceptively smaller waistline.

CREATE YOUR OWN ILLUSION:

Can’t get your hands on an “optical illusion” dress? Here are four principles to learn from the magical frock — and employ in your own wardrobe.

* “Layer your dark on the outside and wear your bold colors inside, to get that illusion of shading. Cinch a thin sweater with a dark-colored belt,” says stylist June Ambrose.

* To create a slimming panel on the torso, Ambrose suggests using a scarf. “Lay it along the side of the body, drape it over the shoulder and cinch it with a subtle belt,” she says.

* Look for strong fabrics such as stretch polyester, heavy jersey or neoprene. “These fabrics will create that snug effect,” says Ambrose. “And neoprene is the new leather. Plus, unlike leather, it retracts. Leather stretches.”

* “To maximize a longer, leaner silhouette, vertically challenged women should have the dress hit just above the knee.

If you’re taller, let the dress stop just below the knee,” Ambrose says.

Oh these silly cats!!

I know this video is everywhere but in case you haven't seen it yet!

I am such a sucker for these proposals. This guy does it at Downtown Disney!

"Two and a Half Men" Is Still a Ratings Sensation

"Two and a Half Men" is still an American ratings sensation. Monday's episode drew 20.5 million viewers. That's down from the 28.7 million that watched the season premiere last week . . . but it's still an incredibly big audience.

For comparison, no episode of "Two and a Half Men" had more than 15.6 million viewers last season. Naturally, the ratings will probably sink more before they settle into a groove . . . but the producers must be pleased with its impressive start.

(--Meanwhile, CHARLIE SHEEN'S best friend CHUCK LORRE seemed to talk about the Charlie situation in the "vanity card" that aired after Monday's "Two and a Half Men". You can read it, here.)

Please take some time to read this post. The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 cups of coffee.

When things in your life seem, almost too much to handle, When 24 Hours in a day is not enough, Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.

When the class began, wordlessly,He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar And proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.

They agreed it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.

The pebbles rolled into the open Areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.

Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor, as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.

The golf balls are the important things - family, children, health, Friends, and Favorite passions – Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, Your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else --The small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' He continued, there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.

The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, You will never have room for the things that are important to you.

So...

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.

Play With your children.

Take time to get medical checkups.

Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

'Take care of the golf balls first --

The things that really matter.

Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled.

'I'm glad you asked'.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'

Do you doodle?

WHAT YOUR DOODLE SAYS ABOUT YOU....

FACES: The expression on a doodled face is often a good indication of the mood or character of the person who has drawn it. A nicely drawn, good-looking face suggests you see the good in others. If you sketch weird or ugly faces, you are probably mistrustful. Comic faces demonstrate a desire to be the centre of attention. Child-like doodles of faces suggest neediness. Profiles indicate you're an introvert.

CHESS BOARD: The black and white checkerboard doodle suggests patience and persistence. Perhaps you are weighing-up various options regarding a tricky situation? It's also the favorite doodle of people who are prone to mood swings.

FLOWERS: Soft, rounded petals around a circular flower centre suggest an amiable, family-centric person. If the center of your flower is a circle, but your petals are pointy, you are probably hiding a warm heart behind a prickly defensiveness. If you doodle a bunch of perky-looking flowers you are likely to be sociable. Drooping flower heads, on the other hand, indicate you're burdened by worry.

BUTTER: Flighty and romantic, fluttering butterflies, birds and bees suggest you don't want to be tied down -- or landed with difficult tasks or problems.

HEARTS: Obviously a romantic doodle. Drawing a heart indicates you're in love with love.

INTRICATE PATTERNS: Busy, highly-detailed doodles are often drawn by people with an obsessive nature, who simply will not let go of their ambitions or loved ones. This type of drawing is often a favorite with extreme introverts.

STAIRS OR LADDER: Symbols of ambition and a willingness to work your way methodically 'up the ladder' in life, drawings of stairs and ladders also often indicate you have an important, long-term task in hand. They can represent a spiritual quest, too, perhaps a desire to be happier or more relaxed.

ARROWS: A determined person with a specific goal in mind will draw arrows, subconsciously 'aiming' at his or her 'target'. If the arrow is sharp and angular, the target probably is something important -- perhaps a person who needs to be confronted or a job that needs to be applied for.

BOATS AND PLANES: Doodling any form of transport often indicates a desire to escape from a situation.

HOUSE: This common doodle indicates a need for security. A neat drawing of a house suggests a secure home life, a more messy-looking sketch (especially one without windows) indicates unhappiness with your home life. A house pictured on its own on top of a hill suggests you're feeling isolated and lonely.

SPIDER'S WEB: This can symbolize a feeling of being trapped -- or the desire to entice someone into a particular relationship or situation.

NAMES OR INITIALS: Doodling your name or initials is common for those who enjoy being the centre of attention. Teenagers often doodle just their first name or the initial of their Christian name, indicating a desire to break away from the family and do their own thing. Doodling someone else's name, on the other hand, shows they are in your thoughts -- perhaps romantically or because they are a presenting a problem you need to deal with.

STARS: Stars are often drawn by ambitious people. Lots of little stars indicate optimism. If you've drawn one big, bold, embellished star, you've got a definite goal in your sights. Neat, uniform stars suggest good mental focus, while freehand, asymmetric stars show an energetic personality.

SQUARES OR BOXES: Drawing a square indicates you want control of a situation -- that you are thinking through a problem. If your squares progress to a cube or box, you're likely to be a very efficient, analytical person who can deal with difficult situations with little fuss.

ZIGZAGS: Just as patterns made up of soft, flowing, curvy lines suggest a romantic, female approach to things, patterns made up of lots of straight lines, indicate more aggressive masculine characteristics. Zigzags are a particularly common doodle and show energetic thinking and a desire to get on with things.

STICK FIGURE: Commonly doodled by highly successful people, the simple stick figure reveals someone who is in control of their emotions and incredibly focused on their goals in life.

The Month You're Born in Makes a Huge Impact on Your Future Career

This sounds like some mix of astrology, superstition, and an old wives' tale . . . but apparently there's actual data to back it up.

--It's hard to figure out the science behind it . . . there are theories about things like the amount of sunlight pregnant women are exposed to, or the allergies children are more prone to in different seasons. But no one's really sure.

--All they know is that data has shown people born in certain months end up in certain careers more often. Here are the findings . . .

--JANUARY. Lots of doctors and debt collectors, fewer real estate agents.

--FEBRUARY. Lots of artists and traffic cops, fewer physicists. Also, people born in February are most prone to narcolepsy. (???)

--MARCH. Lots of pilots and musicians.

--APRIL. The only career that's overrepresented in April over time is . . . dictators. People born in April are also more likely to have lower-than-average IQs, and more health problems.

--MAY. Lots of politicians, fewer pro athletes.

--JUNE. Lots of CEOs. Also high on Nobel Prize winners.

--JULY. Lots of manual laborers and artists.

--AUGUST. Lots of manual laborers and high-ranking politicians.

--SEPTEMBER. Lots of people in academia and sports.

--OCTOBER. Lots of politicians. People in October are also most likely to live the longest.

--NOVEMBER. Lots of serial killers. What!? Also, people born in November are most prone to bipolar disorder.

--DECEMBER. Lots of dentists. Also lots of religious and secular MESSIAHS . . . (Think JESUS!!!)
