WILL FERRELL answered a reporter's phone when it started ringing in the middle of an interview in Dallas last week.
Sarah Ksiazek for LostInReviews.com says she was using an audio recording app on her phone for the first time . . . and didn't realize she could still get incoming calls.
Ferrell picked up and said who he was . . . and it turned out to be her MOM.
