Besides eating them, how many different uses can you think of for a cucumber? Here are some more…

- Try rubbing a slice or two of cucumber on your cellulite for a few minutes. The phyto-chemicals in the cucumber cause the collagen in your skin to tighten, reducing the visibility of cellulite. Works great on wrinkles too!

- Rub a cucumber slice along a fogged-up mirror. It will eliminate the fog and provide a soothing, spa-like fragrance in your bathroom.

- Place a few slices of cucumber in a small pie tin and your garden will be free of pests all season long. The chemicals in the cucumber react with the aluminum in the pie plate to give off a scent undetectable to humans but unbearable to slugs and other garden pests.

- Rub a freshly cut cucumber over your shoes. The cucumber's chemicals will provide a quick and durable shine that not only looks great but also repels water.

- Rub a slice of cucumber on your faucets. Not only will the cucumber remove years of tarnish and bring back the shine, but is won’t leave streaks and it won’t harm your fingers and fingernails while you're using it.

- To get rid of bad breath, including garlic, take a slice of cucumber and press it to the roof of your mouth for 30 seconds. The phyto-chemicals in the cucumber will kill the bacteria that causes bad breath.

- Take the outside of a cucumber and slowly rub it on paper to erase amy mistake made in ink. It also works on walls to remove marks by crayons and Magic Markers.
