Today is “Take Your Dog to Work Day”, created by Pet Sitters International in 1999 to give dog owners the opportunity to invite their ‘best friend’ into participating workplaces.
(Oh, by the way, today the“Ugliest Dog Contest”, goes today in Petaluma, California. Top dog wins $1,000. Some of them can be downright hideous – missing a limb, an eye, or fur.)
