Gas prices have never higher in Nova Scotia. We're paying $1.40.3 a litre right now. Have you changed your driving habits because of high gas prices?

i used to fill up the car evey thursday or friday in preparation for the weekend and the coming week. I had a budget of 60 dollars which not long ago filled the tank. Now the same money 3/4 fills the tank . So I still spend the same money but I really look at where I need to go instead of driving now, I walk or take the bus. Maybe it is a good thing?
The thing to remember is stick to the budget. This time next year they say it will be lower!

I spend the same amout of money everytime I fill up, so I guess this is me watching how much I drive, because last summer $40 would fill my tank and now i get 3/4 of a tank and that is pushing it especially now with the gas prices rising like mad!!

I can't wait untill all the people relize that if they want the gas price to go down they have to stand up to the crazy goverment and sotp buying the gas. Go to one station like just go to willsons and stop going to petro canada they will have no choice but to lowe there price to stay in business.

going to one station doesn't really matter, the gas all comes from the same place, the esso refinery in Dart. so esso is still getting thier money no matter where you buy it from, you might hurt that particular gas station and it's not thier fault they are just like franchises, you can't stop the govt from getting thier money, if they lowered gas prices the would raise the price of something else, it's a no win situation.
as far as changing my driving habits, i try to do what ever it is i have to do in one area at a time especially if i'm in hfx, i try to do everything in one shot while i'm there.
