Easter weekend reminders..

HRM with a reminder - no regular municipal solid waste collection services on Good Friday, April 22. Curbside collection of garbage, organics or recyclables normally scheduled for Good Friday, will occur Saturday, April 23.

The Otter Lake Waste Processing and Disposal Facilities, the two Composting Facilities and the HRM Recycling Plant will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday but will be open on Saturday, April 23rd and Monday, April 25th with regular operating hours.

HRM’s residential Household Hazardous Waste Depot will be closed Saturday, April 23rd but will be open Saturday, April 30th.. www.halifax.ca/recycle or 490-4000.

Metro Transit schedule for the upcoming Easter Weekend.

Good Friday, April 22

Conventional fixed route bus and Access-A-Bus service will operate on Holiday level schedules. There will be no MetroLink, MetroX, Community Transit or Alderney or Woodside ferry service in operation.

Saturday, April 23

Buses and ferries will operate on regular weekend schedules.

Easter Sunday, April 24

Buses will run on Holiday level schedules. There will be no ferry service in operation

Monday, April 25

Buses, MetroLink, MetroX, Community Transit, Access-A-Bus and the Alderney & Woodside ferries will all operate on regular weekday schedule service
