CTV Meterologist Cindy Day is our special guest this morning. Turns out Cindy is a great cook. We asked her for a recipe that she could pass along. Here's a recipe for Cindy's Maple Fudge.
1 c white sugar
1 1/2 c brown sugar
2 c maple syrup
2 c whipping cream
Mix all ingredients. Bring to a slow rolling boil. Use candy thermomter to bring the mixture to "soft ball" stage ((235 F). Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add 2 Tbsps of butter, Whip with a wooden spoon until it begins to thicken.
Pour into a pan and let set.
