Thank you for making this easy. I've registered all of my numbers (home, cells, work, daughter's cell, Mom's, Bro's). I can't wait until the month is up. I've been getting an average of 2-3 calls per day and I'm now passing the annoyed point and am beginning to become rude to those poor telemarketers who will soon be out of a job. While my heart goes out to them, there's gotta be a better way to make a living that telemarketing! You guys have a great day! The Laundry Lady :~)

Looks like the CRTC is having technical difficulties. I am trying to register my number and when I click to send my information through, it says the page cannot be found. Anyone else having trouble?

Keep trying. I had the same problem but was, eventually, able to get my number on the do-not-call list. I think the website may be a little over-worked this morning.

Thanks Peter! I'll keep at it. God love you guys for doing this. I also am getting at least 3 calls a day, more than that if you count the calls that come in on the cell phone. Nice that this will cut down on some of that! Again, thanks for the info and keep up the good work! :)

The website now says it is unavailable due to planned maintenance. I'll keep trying as I'm sick of these phone calls. I keep telling them to remove my number but they still keep calling... it's very frustrating. The Laundry Lady is right, there must be a better way to make a living.

This rule could not have come soon enough!!! I like many other people get at least two to three calls a night!! Even to my fax machine!!! Thanks C100 for giving us the phone number and link. I too am having problems registering my phone numbers and fax number through the website and their number is still busy. I will keep trying though. This ruling should have come years ago!!!

Thanks for the partial information. What you've failed to mention is business - in order to access this list - must pay for the priviledge. Also - companies like ours, a research company are NOT telemarketers and are exempt from the "offensive" telemarketers list

I finally got through, kept hitting the back button once in the system when the page read "this service is not available". Perseverance pays off... however this registration expires on Oct 31 2011, they have one month before they have to stop calling us, and there are too many exceptions. Better than nothing though.

Thank you for letting your listeners know about the Do Not Call List. It's about time Canada did something about those annoying telemarketers.

I have already registered my home phone, our cell phone and my parents' phones. Thank you so much.
