A 25-year-old Russian-born model learned yesterday that she'd been chosen as the cover model for Sports Illustrated's annual swimsuit issue out today, getting the news during a taping of CBS' Late Show with David Letterman, which revealed the choice to the world. Irina Shayk was one of 10 models on the show to do the "Top 10" list, and none of them knew until the last minute who the cover model would be. Shayk, who's the girlfriend of soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, appears on the cover in a pink-and-yellow halter bikini, an image from a photo shoot months ago in Hawaii.
