Stephanie, Gabriel’s mother, writes:

A wish means so much more then the material parts... it represents people caring for others when they need it most.

Our son was only 10 1/2 months old when he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. It was the hardest thing to see our little boy have to go through so much to be given a 25% chance at life.


21/2 yrs later our son is a happy healthy boy that is seeing that there are people out there working hard so that he can receive his wish! Gabriel's wish is to go see Lighting McQueen at Disney World; we are so blessed that our son is now healthy enough to be able to have his Wish granted!!

We as a family feel so fortunate to be able to be a part of special events like “One Wish in One Day” and to share with the community how much their effects mean.

Gabriel is 3 1/2 and his mission in life is to help the other children that are sick now, he wants to make them feel better. It was other people giving back that helped our son get better and to be able to have his wish come true, so we hope to do the same!
