Hockey Mom nominee for Thursday, January 13th.



Don Stienburg nominated Mary Stienburg:

Mary has managed the Eastern Shore Mariners Pee Wee A girls hockey for the past two seasons. She is a mother of three female hockey players and one Ringette player. She spends countless hours setting up the buget,fundraising,tournaments both home and away and getting extra ice. She has entered the kids in the great Herd Hat Program put on by the Mooseheads and entered each girls name each week. She also runs the Church Sunday School program in our area and is the Assistant Superintendent of the Guides in the area. She also ran the Christmas Shopping Party for the Oyster Pond Acandemy primary to grade nine School. She attends all games for both the Pee Wee girls and the Atom AA girls. She supervises the dressing room for the Pee Wee A girls and runs the clock for the Atom Girls. She also runs the 50/50 for every home game for the Pee Wee A girls. She puts countless hours in front of the computer organizing schedules, tournaments (including hotel arrangements), ice time and fundraisers. But on top of all that, she has time for family and friends and is just a plain great mom.
