Oscar-nominated actor passes

Actor Pete Postlethwaite has died at the age of 64...He had been receiving treatment for cancer.

The actor, who recently appeared in "Inception", worked with director Steven Spielberg on "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" and "Amistad." He received the Order of the British Empire in 2004.

Postlethwaite was nominated for an Oscar for his role in "The Name of the Father".
He was also appeared in the 1994 film "The Usual Suspects."



Postlethwaite was once described by Spielberg as being "the best actor in the world,"
