What's on Your Bliss List?

What makes you blissfully happy? Help us compile a list of things that make C100 listeners blissfull. For me, it might be sleeping in on a Saturday morning, or introducing my 12 year old to a great older movie he has never seen before. Help us out.

I have a hobby that involves a torch and melting glass into a really nice bead. It's called lampworking. So going to my studio to be artistic is definitely on my list!

When I wake up in the morning when I'm Down South and it dawns on me where I am. That feeling is the best!!

Also, snuggles with my 3 year old and no pottie accidents for the day is awesome.

Doing random acts of kindness! Always leaves me feeling good, even though other things in life may not be going as well.

Before Christmas I was at Costco and an older couple was struggling to get a flat panel TV into their small vehicle. I drove by saying " They are not going to get that in that car". I have a Toyota Matrix, parked, walked up to them and asked them If they wanted me to drive it home for them? They just looked at me, as to say "who are you?" I just had to go into Costco to renew my membership, and told them I would be right back. When I came back out they agreed to let me help them out. I had my 4 year old with me, so I guess I wasn't that scary looking.

Then I thought they might think I was going to steal their TV and drive away on them....so we did a swap...I let the lady drive my daughter to her house....while I drove the husband and the TV to the house. Either way if one drove away, someone would be missing something...and it put a bit of trust in the situation!

At this point I didn't even know where they lived...Thinking it was somewhere in Halifax. I drove the TV to the other side of Dartmouth in Cole Harbour. Good thing I didn't have to be anywhere that day!

All in all, the goods all arrived safe and sound. They invited me in for a drink and cookies....and then we drove away. And haven't seen them since. It was an interesting day, and I got to meet 2 very nice people!

Going across the bridge and getting into Halifax is definately on my bliss list...Living in northern NB for the time being, I love returning to the city! Crossing the bridge means a couple of great days ahead with friends in Halifax...Lucky me, I'll be returning to Halifax next week end for my first Bluenose 5k race!

Knowing my 19 year old son is not embarrassed to be seen with his gray haired middle aged mother at an Opeth concert in Toronto. He amazes me on a regular basis.
