According to a survey done by a U.S information security company, one in three information technology professionals abuses administrative passwords to access confidential data such as colleagues' salary details, personal e-mails or board-meeting minutes.

Most work places have IT policies that state that all email correspondence is the property of the employer. Not only that, many places use scanning technology to scan incoming and outgoing mail for flagged words.
So if anyone thinks their work mail is private should think again.
