When Should Kids Start Working?
On Friday and over the weekend we asked you when kids should get their first summer job. The majority (53%) said teens should be 16 before they start working. Twenty-one percent said 15 years of age while 13% of you said the first summer job should happen at age 14. Care to comment further?

Should kids start working at 16... yes!
Reasons why: keep more kids off the streets and from getting into trouble.... teach kids how to handle their own spending money.... show kids that there is no free ride in life ... teach kids how to save their own money for things they want but parents can't afford.
Teach kids how to divide their time into work, school,play...not just play.
Teach kids the value of money.
